Bobby Jones is the owner of Bobby Jones Racing, a business built on 41 years of experience in the automotive industry, the majority of which has been associated with testing and production. His business experience was founded on the bedrock of automotive innovation and advances: Auto racing. As a teenager, Bobby learned to fix cars that his father built and progressed from racing cars on the beach to the pinnacle of the racing world, NASCAR events. Along the road, Bobby worked with many legendary people including: Tiny Lund, Bud Moore, Parnelli Jones, Ford Motor Company, Junior Johnson, Cale Yarbrough, Darrell Waltrip, Ford backed Holman& Moody, Mark Martin, Rick Hendrick, Greg Sacks, Edmund Richardson, Page Jones, and many others. In the process, Bobby drove, built, was the pit crew, shop foreman, division manager and key contributor to racing teams that participated in NASCAR, Busch Grand National, ARCA, and NHRA races that won two Trans-Am Championships and three Winston Cup Championships.

In addition to building race cars, teaching metal fabrication, welding, and race car construction techniques, Bobby also ran a race car driving school. He teamed up with Slick 50 as a sponsor and did the testing of their product during 1991, 1992, and 1993. This helped propel the oil additive into one of the top spots of that very competitive market. In the process, Bobby has earned a reputation for thoroughness of preparation and quality of work that reflects his championship experience in the world of auto racing. He has gathered a collection of highly skilled mechanics, metal fabricates, technicians, engineers, and business managers that help him put pencil to paper before putting the pedal to the metal. And that’s what makes Bobby Jones Racing ahead of the pack in both testing and production in the automotive world today.
